Empty nest syndrome.

So it has been about a month since my last post. I fully intended to keep you up to date on the hummingbird situation (because you have been sooo anxiously waiting). So the hummingbird built a nest in our Christmas lights, and the nest yielded an actual baby hummingbird. But unfortunately, we were unable to get a good shot in the nest with the camera since it's at a weird angle. So this is the best I could do. You might be able to see a little beak.

Before we knew it, the little devil just flew away. All that remains are the sweet markings of hummingbird defecation on our front window. That's right- bird poop.



So now we're just empty nesters... minus the nest egg.
